Allstate NI partner with Startacus for Women in tech and tech inclusion event

by Startacus Admin

Northern Ireland's largest IT company Allstate NI have partnered with leading startup community and platform Startacus to help deliver a women in tech and tech inclusion focused event during Derry City and Strabane Enterprise Week 2020.
Based in Belfast, Derry and Strabane, Allstate NI specialises in delivering technology and business services to its parent company, the Allstate Corporation. Currently employing around 2300 workers in NI and with plans to develop further, the NI company is a leading light in supporting women in tech and STEM related initiatives.
Their involvement as strategic partner is a real win for the 5th March event, which will include a pitch competition, where shortlisted female-led tech startups from across the island of Ireland will be invited to pitch their businesses to a panel of industry leaders and enterprise experts.
Alastair Cameron, Startacus co-founder said: “Allstate NI is a dynamic and inspirational organisation which has embraced diversity and inclusion within its company culture. We are thrilled to partner with them for this event and believe that their core values truly complement and align with our own ethos and the key objectives of Enterprise Week itself.”
The one-day event will focus on the wider themes of diversity, technology inclusion and the future of education and the workplace, with the overall aim of inspiring, motivating and encouraging attendees through the pitch competition, discussions, key-note speakers, workshops and an evening social and networking event.
Further details on the overall event, keynote speakers, confirmed sponsors and the women-in-tech competition and prize package, will be announced shortly.
