AIB Start-up Academy Summit peaks with over 250 NI Entrepreneurs in attendance

The AIB Start-up Academy Summit visited Belfast last Thursday evening for the Northern Ireland leg and final stop of its all-Ireland tour which had also visited Galway, Cork and Dublin over the last few weeks.
The excellently attended evening event, held in Life Church Belfast, brought together local NI startups and key business influencers for an evening of learning and networking. Brexit, government support, funding and skills were the hot topics of the night as an audience of 250 plus posed questions to leading business personalities Bill Wolsey, the entrepreneur behind the successful Merchant and Bullitt Hotels in Belfast, Diane Roberts from Xcell Partners and Colman Equity, Eleanor McEvoy, founder of Budget Energy and Caroline Wilson, Founder of Belfast Food Tour.
Belfast attendees also got to avail of practical advice from industry experts at Google, Grant Thornton and Invest NI while networking and enjoying refreshments provided by NI startup companies; Copeland Gin, Prohibition Drinks and Bubbacue.
