Adadot - the world's first fitness tracker for work

by Startacus Admin
The lowdown on London-based SaaS startup Adadot and its innovative performance and wellbeing tracking platform for developers.
When working, there are certain things you can track to give yourself an idea of how well you are doing, be it word count, emails per hour, deals closed per day, or whatever is applicable to your work. This is fine, but if you were to wear a fitness tracker, wouldn’t you want it to do a little more than tell you how far you’ve gone and how many steps you’ve taken? Perhaps you’d like it to give you more about your gait, breathing pattern, and tips to improve stamina, for example? What if, in a similar way, you could get more out of a performance tracker for work?
London-based SaaS startup Adadot has built a platform to do just this. Theirs is a performance and wellbeing tracking platform that helps developers improve the way that they feel and work.
Adadot helps people to understand the correlation between wellbeing at work and their performance and productivity, based on the pretty straightforward and common sense idea that the better someone feels, the more supported by their employer they are, the more satisfied they are with their job, the better they perform.
The platform plugs into the tools you are already using and tracks working patterns, helping you to identify how to maximise results and avoid burnout. Compare your performance with your own past benchmarks, and anonymously see how you stack up against peers and the industry in general. The foundation of Adadot is DORA's State of DevOps research program, from Developed by Google, which represents seven years of research and data from over 32,000 professionals worldwide.
As well as reaching the #1 Product of the Day spot on Product Hunt in January, Adadot won the Innovate UK SMART Grant. In April 2022, the startup announced that it had raised $1 million in funding, which will help launch their tracker and expand their reach.
