Accelerator Academy - Listen-up Start-up!

by Startacus Admin
We love taking a look at accelerator programmes that offer something a bit special and this week we think we've hit the nail on the head with Accelerator Academy, a well established education programme which has tasked itself with encouraging high growth to start-up digital businesses.
You'll have to get your skates on though, as all applications must be in by September 15th.
What does the programme entail?
10 - 12 successful applicants will embark on a 12 week part-time programme comprising mentoring sessions and workshops all aimed at training ambitious digital entrepreneurs in everything connected to digital business including marketing, sales, finance, design, development, investment and much more. There will also be access to a fortnightly accelerator clinic and a dedicated personal business mentor with industry specific experience to guide you through the programme and offer sound advice on moving your business forward!
In addition to this, companies which successfully complete the programme will have the opportunity to pitch their business to a range of key early stage investors including GLE, Angel Capital Group and White Horse Capital. What's more is that even when you have successfully completed the programme you will be admitted to the Accelerator Academy Alumni, which will give continued support and provide access to events and investor introductions.
How much will it cost?
Here is what we think is quite special about this programme. Initially the programme costs £600 however as the Accelerator Academy is sponsorship subsidised, if within 3 months of completion you manage to raise investment from a new accelerator investor support service provided by White Horse Capital, your initial fee will be refunded. As a further incentive, successful companies will have access to a number of discounts and deals on legal and accounting services from the accelerator’s partners.
Add to this the fact that the course takes place in the evenings and weekends meaning that it can easily fitted into most peoples work schedules and you have an accelerator that's definitely worth a look!
Interesting in applying? You’d better hurry, all applications must be in by September 15th! Check out the Accelerator Academy website for full details and info on how to apply.
