A self Interview with Tara Dalrymple of Mission Possible

What advice can you offer to others?
There are a few main bits of advice that I have followed over the years, which have helped me to become a better entrepreneur and succeed in my business:
- What problem are you solving? That is the first thing you should ask yourself.
- Think BIG, use the Internet and social media platforms to help your idea get going.
- Don’t invest in stuff you don’t need, a laptop/pc is a great place to start.
- Follow your own convictions and plough on with your idea no matter what. However, be mindful of constructive criticism because it can be the most important tool when it comes to perfecting that idea.
- Ask loads of questions when you are thinking of setting up a business, never be afraid to ask questions that you think are silly, they all have their place in the scheme of things.
- Mind map your ideas and create a mood board, it’s great to have something to have on your wall to give you energy and inspiration on the days that you are questioning your idea as those days will come more often than you would think.
- Get a great team behind you, friends, family, and people you have worked with, as it’s always great to have support from people who know and care about you.
- Up-skill yourself as much as you can, there are loads of sites that offer them for free, YouTube is a great one.
- Once you get going, get an advisory board and mentors around you. Create a solid foundation on which to build lasting business relationships.
