A self Interview with Shabby, Founder of TotalTripOut London!
by Startacus Admin
Shabby, a young entrepreneur has just launched her start-up 'TotalTripOut London', a bespoke & private tour firm helping inbound visitors make London and beyond their personal playground.
This morning she became a Startacus member and in true self starter style, she sent us an immediate blurb on her journey to date: Check it out and why not send her a message to wish her well!
"A few years back I was a squatter...living with an art collective around London with next to no money. Being so broke, I had no cash to travel anywhere so had to walk everywhere. If you'd have told me then that the knowledge of London's streets and the passion for the layers and levels of the city this time gave me would lead me eventually to my future career, I never would have believed you.
My love for this buzzing metropolis eventually took me off to hone my skills on the sightseeing buses as a London guide before going off to work for a private walking firm.
It was then I realised how little many of the tour firms in this city, and indeed further afield, provide for the unique nature of a tourist's desires while they're on vacation and so... my business was born .
'TotalTripOut London' is a bespoke & private tour company helping inbound visitors make London and beyond their own person playground through a mixture of tailor made days, pre-designed tours and day excursions to other cities. Using an email form, I get the ages, genders and interests of each member of a private group and tailor a day/couple of days/week that will show everyone the London they want to see."
Finding the right supplier for your business can seem daunting when those you are looking at are overseas. So here are some things to think about when starting a relationship with and working with an overseas supplier.
