5 Things you Need as a Startup Business

by Startacus Admin
Starting up a business is difficult. There are so many things to juggle at the same time – and there can be an insurmountable amount of pressure to get things right, and sometimes with limited support elsewhere. It also may be your very first business – so you will learn things along the way. Here are 5 things you need as a startup business.
Logo and Branding
Your logo and branding tells’ people what they need to know about the personality behind your business. It will be on your business cards, your printed materials, your social media channels and more. You need to pay careful attention as to how this is created as it needs to speak to the consumer.
A Website
The first thing people will do when they hear about the name of your company is “Google” you. When they do – they should find your website first. This is where you get to leave a good first impression. Your website should give clear detail as to what you offer as a business, let them know more about your company, and information as to how to contact you. You can use free website builders to do this yourself, or you can outsource to the professionals.
An Accountant
You need to ensure that you are keeping on top of budgets and cashflow within your company. An accountant can help monitor this for you, as well as give you the advice you need to save money on tax, VAT etc. There are some great accounting software options that you can use for free that will help you generate invoices and monitor that side of things.
Office Premises
If you are a startup that has employees, then you will definitely need office premises, and you may need to relocate office as your business team grows. You can look online for some good office furniture and IT equipment, and there may already be some things that you have that you want to take with you, and some things that you want to leave behind. If you relocate to a place with existing furniture and it doesn't fit the aesthetic you're going for, you might want to contract removal services to make sure everything is removed or disposed of safely.
A Good Team Behind You
You need the right support behind you to make your startup yourself. Let’s face it – you can’t do everything on your own. Make sure you know exactly what you are looking for in your prospective candidates so you can create accurate job ads. You also may want to enlist the services of a recruitment agency to help you find the right candidates. They will discuss your company culture with you, establish what you are looking for and find suitable matches. This takes a lot of the hassle away from you. It also means that you are more likely to find people quickly and get roles filled faster.
If you are starting up your own business, these are 5 things that you shouldn’t be without. Make sure you have the adequate planning in place before you do anything.
