25 Pop-Up - Two Days / Two Locations / 50 Designers and one Pop-Up Store

Aiming to champion Northern Irish Designers and to showcase their work we took a quick look at 25 Pop-Up - a pop up store that will literally be popping up in two locations over one weekend.
Here at Startacus we have championed the power of the Pop-Up store to give both life and inspiration to an otherwise dwindling high-street, and to offer aspiring retailers the chance to find a space to sell and market in store as well as online.
25 Pop-Up is a design led Pop-Up store retailing in Northern Ireland with curated local and international design.
Based around the ‘25’ theme, 25 Pop-Up will showcase Northern Irish design objects, all at £25 or less. The hope is to involve 50 designers and brands in the Pop-Up store that will appear over one weekend (2nd and 3rd April) in both Derry and Belfast.
25 Pop-Up organiser Christine James explained:
“We are running the event to promote, celebrate and champion Northern Ireland designers, by giving them a platform to showcase their work and making their work accessible to the general public in price and by providing a relaxed and informal setting. We are planning on running the event regularly over the year and have our next event planned for September. We also have some add on events planned for later in the year to help designers get their products ready for market, export and a professional retail setting.”
25 Pop-Up are currently on hunt for designers to be considered for the 25 design pop-up space pop-on over to http://eightyeightyone.com/content/25-design-pop and also email info@blickstudios.org for more info and to apply.
