20 startups to pitch at the Northern Stars 2017 grand final

by Startacus Admin
About three months ago we highlighted that applications were open for Northern Stars 2017 - a Tech North startup pitch competition, open to 'Northern' based early-stage tech startups, who've raised no more than £2 million in equity-based investment and have a product on the market that's gained traction. And last week the 20 Northern Stars finalists for 2017 were announced.
Northern Stars exists to find and showcase the best tech startups in the North of England and the finalists were selected by a selection panel consisting of: Rose Lewis (Collider), Kara Shurmantine (Mass Challenge), Tom Wilson (Seedcamp), Chris Adelsbach (TechStars), Francisco Gutierrez (Startupbootcamp), Harry Rhys Davies (Wayra). That’s with the exception of Synap, Ruler Analytics, and SkillsForge, who won their regional heat events.
Now at the Grand Final, (taking place at The Stoller Hall, Manchester, on 16 November 2017) the 20 finalists will be assessed by a panel of judges. The panel of five will include: David Fogel (ADV), Suzanne Ashman (LocalGlobe), and Keith Wallington (Oxx VC). They will then select the 10 winners, who will receive this prize package.
