20% off SSE Social Enterprise Funding Workshop

by Startacus Admin
Finding funding for a Social Enterprises / Not-for-Profit has become an increasingly difficult task as ‘austerity’ has meant that the social enterprise / not for profit / charitable
sector has felt the full force of the cuts.
Therefore we are delighted to share word that for the next three weeks, the School for Social Entrepreneurs will offer a 20% discount to their next London based Sources of Funding Workshop via Startacus.
The School for Social Entrepreneurs (SSE)?
The School for Social Entrepreneurs was founded in 1997 and since then has been supporting individuals who are starting & growing social enterprises and community organisations via their unique action-learning courses. From humble beginnings in East London, their network of franchise schools now supports hundreds of social entrepreneurs a year across the UK, Ireland, Canada and Australia.
So 20% off ‘Sources of Funding Workshop’ then?
On 10th June 2015 at the SSE London head-office the SSE have put together a highly practical workshop providing you with an insight into the mindset of the people who make funding decisions. A panel of speakers will give you the top tips you need to help win funding for your organisation.
After all, understanding the full spectrum of funding available is key to the sustainability of any charity or social enterprise, but getting access to funders and knowing how they operate can be difficult.
At the event you will discover how you can generate diverse income streams from a variety of sources; grant-making organisations, major donors, philanthropists, and corporate funders.
They will highlight how you can find new funding opportunities, and help you to make the contacts you might need. You will leave the workshop with an understanding of the different income sources available to you, insight into what a range of funders are looking for, and an action plan to develop new income streams.
And now via Startacus you can save 20% on the price of the workshop. Hooray!
For all the details click School for Social Entrepreneurs and to apply the deal simply add ‘startacus’ on the booking reference and at the appropriate point!
To make this offer accessible to all, you don’t have to be a Startacus member necessarily, but we encourage you all to keep in the loop by signing up to the site so that you can avail of the opportunity to list your startup, showcase your wares, grow your community, and grab loads of member only business deals, ticket giveaways and brand freebies.
Last, but not least, we'd like to give a big thank you to SSE for this fab offer.
