15 for 2015 - entries now open

by Startacus Admin
We think it’d be fair to say that here at Startacus we heart self starters.
Lots.
So when we hear about initiatives and comps that aim to help self starters in any way, well quite frankly we’re all ears.
One such initiative is the recently launched 15 for 2015 competition.
Backed by PCG, the not for profit freelancer organisation, the comp aims to give the UK’s independent and enterprising self starters the chance to win up to £5k to help grow their business, as well as a whole package of business support, financial advice and tech.
The organisers are seeking entrants from all across the UK and want to help highlight the diversity of self starters who are helping stimulate the economy with their enterprising spirit and sheer drive. Whether you’re a self employed graphic designer or a cupcake maker, they want to hear from you.
To enter, simply complete the application form on the 15 for 2015 site and submit it before 1st September 2014.
Once the entries are all in, fifteen finalists will then be selected and invited to an award ceremony in London’s Tech City in November where the overall winner will be announced.
The final 15 will also get an added boost throughout 2015 by helping the PCG guys spread the word about what it takes to set up a business and in so doing will get a whole heap of PR and promo for them and their businesses.
This comp is all about celebrating the spirit of self starters - people doing their own thing - and since that’s a mission very similar to our own here at Startacus, we really hope as many of you folk as possible enter. Good luck to those of you who do! We’ll be rooting for ya!
