13 startups to showcase at the NI Startup Zone at Digital DNA

by Startacus Admin
Here they are! The fab digital and tech startups from across Northern Ireland that will showcase their innovative products and services in the upStart startup zone at Digital DNA.
There's just a few days to go until the 10th annual Digital DNA where an estimated 2500+ visitors will come together at St George’s Market, Belfast for Northern Ireland’s leading tech and digital event. The 2 day event, taking place on 14th and 15th June, will provide attendees with the opportunity to hear thought-provoking talks from some of the brightest minds in the tech industry and access to workshops and sessions on all sorts of digital and tech-related themes.
In addition, attendees can come along to the upStart zone - a dedicated startup space which Startacus is thrilled to be hosting this year and which has been sponsored by our good friends at Raise Ventures, SeedLegals, Tughans, Belfast Met and Glandore!
An integral part of the upStart space is the expo area, where digital and tech startups from across Northern Ireland will showcase their innovative products and services. We had lots of applications from startups interested in winning an expo pod and it was a tough call to select the winners, however we're delighted to now reveal the fab startups that have been selected to showcase.
So without further ado, the 13 startups that will be exhibiting in the startup zone at Digital DNA are:
Academic Fish - an inclusive, curriculum based, app for the understanding and translation of academic Math language in English, Irish and Chinese from post primary through to university level education.
Armour - an online platform that gives SMEs the tools to build, implement and manage ISO standards, empowering businesses to gain competitive edge, minimise risk, satisfy ESG requirements and add value.
Atlas Smart Technologies - a startup that aims to create the Peloton of the strength sector and that has developed an integrated app, STRONGER Mobile, which converts boring workout numbers into fun and shareable statistics.
Diverse Talent - is building the new generation of talent attraction software focusing on enhancing awareness of employers who invest in DE&I, which is in high demand across the WorkTech remit.
Enzai - a startup that is building a lifecycle management system for artificial intelligence products, to enable users to efficiently manage the risks that come with these powerful systems.

Tisec - a startup that has developed an AI-enabled online examination platform for schools, universities, exam boards, etc to conduct online exams securely.

VRPark - a startup on a mission to make remote-first a reality - from events, hybrid, or remote working environments to remote learning spaces.
In addition to the expo area, the upStart zone will also feature a networking area for startups to connect with like-minded startups and industry experts and a dedicated space for startups to meet, have 121s and engage with a host of startup champions, business mentors and brands.
And speaking of networking, if you’re in the startup zone at 3.30pm on the 14th June, there’ll be an opportunity to grab a beer and do just that, all thanks to our generous drinks sponsors Barclays Eagle Labs.
It’ll also be the perfect place to meet before heading off on the Belfast Hub Crawl, the fab fringe event that’s being organised by Raise Ventures that’s taking place at the end of the first day.
So, if you’re interested in being inspired by some of the most exciting early-stage tech startups in the region, making new connections and exploring all that the digital and tech ecosystem in NI has to offer, make sure to register for this year's Digital DNA Belfast and of course visit and support the upStart Showcase area while you are there!
