12 Months Free cloud hosting for Tech Startups

by Startacus Admin
At the start of 2014 we highlighted our link up with global cloud hosting giants Rackspace. The news was pretty simple, but a massively great start to the year...
The good folk at Rackspace operate the Rackspace Startup Program which offers selected startups 12 months of free Rackspace Cloud Hosting and Services up to a maximum spend of £1,325 per month.
And now, Startacus members can apply to join that Startup Program too!
Rackspace is a global leader in cloud hosting, and has been delivering hosting services to businesses of all sizes and kinds around the world since 1998. Supporting businesses is their thing and since we’ve got our own mission to help self starters, startups, entrepreneurs, and creatives to learn, share, connect, and bring ideas to life, there’s a certain synergy there, don’t you think?
The big news though is not just about how chuffed we are with our link-up with Rackspace, but how much our link-up could benefit you.
And now, Startacus members can apply to join that Startup Program too! As you’d expect, Rackspace have a few conditions. Simply check out the basic criteria below and if you’re eligible and tick all the boxes, then read on...You know it makes sense! Here’s those all-important conditions - you must:
-
Be a Startacus member, so you can select Startacus from the list of Rackspace partners
-
Be a Registered business
-
Have a Digital or core online component in your business offering
-
Have funding and/or investment in place - or at least demonstrate why you will gain funding...
-
Be able to articulate your business idea and plan
-
Have a monetisation strategy
-
Have ideally gone through an incubator or accelerator programme (ieal, but not by all means essential)
So if you reckon you tick all those boxes, how exactly do you get involved?
Well firstly, one assumes you are, or would love to be a Startacus member? If not get on it and register on the site. It's free you know!
Secondly email us at iam@startacus.net and we will send you over a few more specific questions to get the ball rolling.
Although we can't guarantee that all interested startups will be approved (Rackspace’s decision is final after all), do remember - if you ain't in, you can't win …
And if you’re not successful or don’t meet the criteria, fear not - we’ll be announcing other link-ups, partnerships and offers in the coming months that might suit you down to the ground!
***This offer ends 31st August 2015***
