Startacus co-founder Alastair Cameron shares a Christmas wish-list of things he would love to get for Christmas, and what he reckons other Startup founders would like to get as well.11 Christmas Presents for a Startup Founder

“Last year we wrote our list of Christmas gifts to buy your Startup Founder and as it's that festive time again, we return with a fresh look some things you might want to get for that very special (or otherwise) Startup founder in your life.

*I must point out that this is not intended as a hint to anyone working at Startacus HQ. Your mere presence is present enough for me… plus, I don’t have the time to reciprocate.

However, if you are considering buying a seasonal gift for your Startup founder or boss, we’ve compiled a logical range of gifts ideas that could be the ideal thing to float their entrepreneurial boat!

(If Christmas isn’t your thing, rest assured this list can be referenced and utilised at any point of the year full stop!)

11 Christmas Presents for a Startup Founder

A quality 2016 Diary- To last them all through 2016, so that they can plan, postpone, and cancel to their little heart’s content.

A virtual PA- To lend them a hand with the more mundane and time-consuming activities which come with running a business.

A really nice pen- To make them feel all stylish and important when they go to meetings

A mentoring session- To help them brush up on some essential entrepreneurial skills. (Perhaps not one that is focussed on ‘how to be a good boss’ or the like, that might come across as an insult.)

Subscription coffee - To keep them moving when all they want to do is take a sleep under / on the desk.
Portable phone charger- To charge their phone when the battery is flat… obviously

Christmas presents to buy a startup founder Restaurant vouchers- So they can remember what it feels like to be a real person.

A spa day- A taste of the good life so that they remember why they wanted to run a business in the first place

Gadget / maker thing - To make them feel like they are totally trendy and super cool

A tweet! - Because there's sometimes nothing more heart-warming and priceless than a public gesture of appreciation, ‘tis the season of goodwill after all!

A partridge in a pear tree- For comic relief.”
