A little bit about me:

My resume, JUST LIKE ME, is rather 'unorthodox', but I hope that you will read it through before you make up your mind about me. The first thing to keep in mind is that you can't separate me from my ideas/beliefs/contentions as they are ONE AND THE SAME! If you can 'wrap your mind around' and accept my 'non-conformity', then TOGETHER, we can be successful at any venture that we set our minds to!! . My name is Frederick Scanlin and I am a 73 year old man who lives alone on the 700 dollars in social security that I receive each month from having worked several dozen 'blue collar' type jobs during the half century of my working life. I have spent my entire adult life trying to become a successful entrepreneur, but for LEGITIMATE REASONS beyond my control, I haven't as yet achieved that success. Because of these 'reasons', I spent most of my life living alone, more or less as an 'introvert', while studying, researching and improving hundreds of inventions, business and social concepts as well as documenting and proving the power/significance of certain TIMELESS, ETERNAL & INFALLIBLE TRUTHS & PRINCIPLES(you can see them on my website at http://discounstores.weebly.com). . The alluded to above 'LEGITIMATE REASONS'(you can see them on my website as well)have been a major detriment to my success as an entrepreneur, and they don’t just affect me alone, as there are millions of other people(possibly even some of you)who are 'influenced' to some degree by one or more of them. As an elusive 'commodity' as success is to attain even under the best of circumstances, just the slightest of 'obstacles' can have enough of a negative effect on a person’s quest for success, that many deserving people never achieve the success in life that they long for and rightly deserve. . Two of the main 'physical' 'LEGITIMATE REASONS' why I haven't as yet been successful, is that I have been afflicted since childhood with a lifelong 'attention deficit disorder' type of 'malady' that affects my concentration span, which, in turn, affects not only both my ability to attend to the details of a project and my organizational abilities, it has also negatively affected to a great degree my verbal communication abilities as well. Although having these 'disabilities' doesn't disqualify me from thinking just as well as someone without them, nor does it have anything at all to do with the potential value/worth of any of my 'ideas', they are however, needless to say, entrepreneurial traits that are indispensable to someone trying to seek funding for a venture, as well as trying to make a success of it should they get that funding. . Due to the above, I don't have most of the traits, characteristics and expertise that an entrepreneur should have in order to have a reasonable chance to become successful on their own. However, EVEN THOUGH I AM NOT PERSONALLY QUALIFIED TO MAKE A SUCCESS OF ANY OF MY OWN 'IDEAS' FOR INVENTIONS OR NEW BUSINESS VENTURES, because I do possess the following two 'unconventional' type of 'skill sets', I believe that all of my 'ideas' can become successful if, IN AN 'ADVISER'/CONSULTANT type of position, I am on the 'team' charged with making that success become a reality: . . 1)I believe that I may have a '6th sense' type of attribute that allows me upon being made aware of certain people, places, things processes, concepts and any number of other particular 'sets of circumstances', to see them, not necessarily as they are in their present state, but rather how they might become in an 'expanded' way that would give them more value/worth than they are now--and then in an 'consultant' type of position, with the co-operation and utilization of other people's wisdom/knowledge/talent/traits/expertise, I am able to make the necessary 'changes' to make these things reach their highest state of being/existence. . 2)If someone is fully aware of all of their 'limitations' in every aspect of their lives, and realizes the limitless value of the proper 'relegation' of certain jobs/tasks, it isn't necessary for the skill, ability, expertise or knowledge that is needed for them to accomplish something to be in their actual 'possession', just as long as they are both aware of which of these attributes will be necessary to successfully get the job done, and know how they can best be used to do so, and then have at their disposal those people who do actually possess those needed attributes. . Based upon what I refer to as TIMELESS, ETERNAL & INFALLIBLE TRUTHS & PRINCIPLES(some of which are listed below, and the rest on my website), the following facts/observations are also timeless, eternal and infallible as well: . . . 1)IT IS A UNIVERSALLY ACCEPTED FACT among the various 'entities' that invest in new business ventures, that it is the 'implementation' of an idea, rather than the idea itself, that is the most important thing in it's potential success. If this is indeed the case, the question then becomes, in light of the following few facts, does it make any logical sense to pass over a potentially good new invention, business venture or solution to a problem SIMPLY BECAUSE THE ONE WHO THOUGHT OF IT--for any number of LEGITIMATE REASONS--CAN'T, WON'T OR IS INCAPABLE OF DOING ANYTHING OF A POSITIVE NATURE WITH IT? . In a perfect world those people with ‘ideas’ for something/anything would also have all of the necessary qualities/attributes/expertise to make their ‘ideas’ a success, AND CONVERSELY, those people with the qualities/attributes/ expertise to make a success out of any kind of an ‘idea’ would also be able to come up with the ‘ideas’ that they need to be able to make a success out of. Unfortunately, this is not a perfect world and never will be. . Having said the above, there are literally millions of people out there who have potentially good ‘ideas’ for promising new products/services or businesses in every realm of human endeavor, but PERSONALLY lack the qualities/attributes/expertise to make them a success. On the other end of the spectrum, there is a vast pool of eager, hungry ‘entrepreneurs’ out there, who, although they might not be able to come up with a good ‘idea’ for anything if their life depended on it, do have however, collectively among them, every skill, trait, ability, talent, attribute characteristic or other expertise that it would take to bring to successful fruition any kind of an ‘idea’ that anyone could possibly come up with in any realm of human endeavor whatsoever. . If the necessary time & effort were taken to somehow get these two diverse groups of people to work together for their common welfare, you would then have the basis for a 'venue' that would make it possible to never again have to pass up a potentially good 'idea' or business venture SIMPLY BECAUSE THE ONE WHO THOUGHT OF IT CAN'T, WON'T OR IS INCAPABLE OF DOING ANYTHING OF A POSITIVE NATURE WITH IT, as you would now be able to do the much more sensible thing of assembling a hand-picked, 'tailor-made' management team for that venture from that vast pool of eager, 'hungry' entrepreneurs out there who have all of the EXACT qualifications that you need (and in the exact degree of expertise required) in order to give that venture THE ABSOLUTE BEST CHANCE IN THE WORLD TO HAVE EVERY POSSIBLE OPPORTUNITY TO BECOME SUCCESSFUL!!! . Another added benefit of using this venue, which is now denied to those who invest in promising new business ventures, would be that it would now be possible to make certain concessions in the ’unwritten law’ among investors which requires that, in order to get funded, the founders of a proposed new business venture must PERSONALLY have the necessary expertise to make it a success--this venue would then open a whole new world of investment possibilities to them by not now having to limit their search for promising new business ventures to only those whose founders must PERSONALLY have the necessary expertise to make them a success!!! . 2)THE FINITE 26 letters of our alphabet have, over the millennia, formed hundreds of thousands of words and phrases to create the English language, and still today continue to form 'new' words and phrases with every passing year. These new words and phrases however, are in reality only 'new' in the sense that none of the 26 finite letters of our alphabet have ever before been 'arranged/put together' in the exact way that they are, in order to form these new words and phrases. . IN MUCH THE SAME WAY, ALL 'NEW' BUSINESS 'START UP' VENTURES that don't utilize any new or untested technology to make them fully'functional', ARE ONLY 'NEW' in the sense that the various 'components' that make them up(like the letters of our alphabet)--which have been successfully used billions of times in creating every single 'man made' thing in existence--simply have never before been 'put together' in exactly the particular way/shape/manner or form that they are now being combined in order TO FORM/CREATE THE PARTICULAR 'NEW' START UP VENTURE IN QUESTION!!! . 3)THE MANAGEMENT TEAM that is in charge of making a success of any given venture is the singularly most important 'element' in determining it's success or failure--and I would add that just how successful it becomes is, in turn, directly proportional to both the amount and degree of original, 'out-of-the-box' type of entrepreneurial expertise that is possessed/exhibited by that team, AS WELL AS, their ability to properly discern which parts/aspects of the prevailing status-quo that affects their particular venture in any way, will no longer be accepted/held up as the unquestioned way that the who, what, where, when and why of how they will do things to insure the success of their venture!! . THEREFORE IT IS MY CONTENTION THAT ANY 'START UP' BUSINESS VENTURE HAS JUST AS GOOD OF A CHANCE OF BECOMING A SUCCESS: . IF IT IS LEAD BY A 'TEAM' COMPRISED OF EAGER/CONFIDENT PEOPLE WHO ARE FULLY QUALIFIED IN THE VARIOUS 'SKILL SETS' THAT ARE NECESSARY TO MAKE IT FULLY 'FUNCTIONAL'............ . AS DOES ONE......... . COMPRISED OF A 'TEAM' OF ITS 'FOUNDERS', WHO MAY OR MAY NOT BE AS QUALIFIED AND CONFIDENT AS THAT 'HAND PICKED' TEAM ARE. . . . Most 'start ups' require only a few'skill sets' in order to make them completely 'functional'(depending on what it is, this number will vary, and are easily determined by checking on those utilized in comparable 'start up' ventures), so there will never be a shortage of 'QUALIFIED 'START UP' FOUNDERS' just as long as you have access to eager/committed people who are 'acceptably' qualified or proficient in the various 'skill sets' needed for that particular venture--WHICH PRESENTLY EXIST IN THE TENS OF THOUSANDS AS THEY ARE BEING GRADUATED FROM COLLEGES/UNIVERSITIES IN THE THOUSANDS EACH YEAR!!!! . . . THE ABOVE 'ANALYSIS' DEFINITIVELY SHOWS THEN WHY MOST 'START UPS' SHOULD NOT BE DENIED THE CHANCE TO BE CONSIDERED FOR FUNDING SIMPLY BECAUSE: . 1)THE PERSON(S) WHO THOUGHT OF IT(IT'S 'FOUNDER(S)'), FOR ANY NUMBER OF LEGITIMATE REASONS, CAN'T, WON'T OR IS UNABLE TO DO ANYTHING OF A POSITIVE NATURE WITH IT. . 2)IT HAS NO DEFINITIVE BUSINESS PLAN IN PLACE. . 3)IT HAS NO TEAM IN PLACE AS YET TO MAKE IT A SUCCESS................ . . JUST AS LONG AS IT DOES HAVE: . . 1)A BUSINESS PREMISE THAT LOOKS LIKE IT HAS POTENTIAL. . 2)HAS A COOPERATIVE 'FOUNDER' WHO IS WILLING TO GIVE UP A FAIR AMOUNT OF EQUITY TO SEE THEIR VENTURE SUCCESSFUL. . 3)IT HAS NO ISSUES RELATED TO IT THAT CAN'T BE RESOLVED, THUS MAKING IT A PROHIBITED VENTURE. . 4)AND FINALLY, there is a big enough POTENTIAL market out there who will readily accept the price that they will have to be charged in order to cover ALL the costs associated with making that product/service available to them? . . . TIMELESS, ETERNAL & INFALLIBLE TRUTHS & PRINCIPLES: . In all realms of human endeavor/existence THERE ARE CERTAIN UNIVERSALLY INFALLIBLE IDEALS, VALUES, TRUTHS, PRINCIPLES & STANDARDS THAT ARE TIMELESS & ETERNAL IN THE LOGIC, INSIGHT & KNOWLEDGE THAT THEIR PROFOUND WORDS OF WISDOM IMPART TO THE HUMAN RACE. They are unique in the universe in that they transgress time, space, race, creed, color, religions, cultures, gender, sexual preference and all other areas of human endeavor. . Over the last several decades I have gleaned and culled several dozen parables, precepts, platitudes, axioms, insights, adages, truisms, sayings, quotations and other general observations from the thousands that I have encountered during that time period(some of which, when I felt it appropriate, I took the liberty to update &/or paraphrase to make them adaptable to modern times)all of whose basic premise's are based on the ideals/values/truths/principles/standards alluded to above. . Although many of these adages/axioms/quotations, etc. may seem blatantly obvious and others laughingly simple on the surface, the proper 'discernment' will show that they contain within the much deeper meaning that they are meant to impart, certain profound 'words of wisdom', that are universally TIMELESS, ETERNAL & INFALLIBLE in all areas of human endeavor, and thus, IF HEEDED TO THE MAXIMUM & STEADFASTLY ADHERED TO, WILL VIRTUALLY GUARANTEE THE SUCCESS OF ANYTHING THAT IS BASED ON THEM!!!!! .
