Startacus aims to bring ideas to life

Back in August when we first revealed Startacus, the “self start society” to you all, we mentioned that we were still busy beavering away at another part of the site. Well...the good news...no...actually amazing news is that we can now let you guys all see the fruits of our labours - we have today launched our collaboration section! We think you’ll find it’s been worth the wait...
In a nutshell, the Startacus collaboration section will provide a unique dedicated space where projects and ideas can be worked on; where you can make connections with other self starters can be made and where
all the tips, resources and tools they need will be signposted. Startacus members will be able to create public and private virtual workspaces, request to help others, and seek collaborators to help make their own ideas a reality. If help is only needed with certain aspects of a project or business, bespoke workspaces can be created which are specific to an individual’s own needs. And don’t worry, if you want to work on your own, but use the virtual workspaces, you can do that too.
Our primary objective with Startacus has always been to create a place that will inspire, support and motivate people all across the UK and Ireland to fully realise their self start potential. We think with this platform we will be doing just that.
We know that many people have great creative ideas but never do anything with them due to the bureaucracy, the obstacles and even the terminology which exists and which can actually be a deterrent and a barrier. We want Startacus to be a place where those barriers are removed and where those creative ideas can take root and grow. We’ve created a place for all people with all ideas - be they exploring their creative potential for the first time, or an experienced self starter or entrepreneur. Great minds can come together, collaborate on their ideas ( be they big, or little, or any size in between!) and make them more of a reality.
Forget the notion that society is broken, that the economy will continue to drag its’ feet and that employment will be hard to find. With Startacus, you can make take back control, make things happen your way and finally find a way to get that little bit closer to doing your own thing...
We hope you love it all as much as we do!
