Hotel Manager - creating the modern infrastructure for hotels

Hotel Manager is a startup on a mission to enable forward-thinking hotels to deliver next-gen experience for their people and their guests.
Hotels always strive for a smooth, seamless experience for guests. They know that people just want to check in, get to their room, and start the struggle of not raiding the minibar. They want someone on the end of the phone whenever they feel like room service, they want their prompt wakeup call, they want everything convenient and easy. But what’s convenient and easy for the guest can be hard, stressful work for hotel employees dealing with a building full of guests wanting convenience and ease. The most obvious solution is to have a good IT infrastructure in place to automate things, better connect staff with each other and guests, and generally make everything go more smoothly. But how can this be done without having to employ IT staff as well?
London-based tech startup Hotel Manager allows hotels of any size to do just that, without the need for an IT staff. The management system pairs an app for guests with the ability for staff to easily communicate with each other to create an all-in-one suite of solutions that can be customised to each hotel’s specific needs. Everything from reservations, to room service, to check-out can be handled through the system, allowing for greater efficiency and better guest experiences, as well as opening up the potential for new revenue streams. For staff, Hotel Manager means a nicer, more user-friendly system of maintaining operations through a simple and intuitive interface that requires no technical expertise.
Recently, Hotel Manager announced that they had raised £2.2 million in funding in a seed round led by Fuel Ventures, with participation from other existing investors Pitchdrive VC, CORE Angels Lisbon, Boost Fund, StartupIst Ventures, and angel investors. This comes only months after they raised £1.1 million, closing their seed round with £3.2 million. Founded in 2020, the startup was among the 10 finalists of the Future Travel Summit Pitch Competition 2022 in Barcelona, and with this quick and impressive growth, we expect to hear more from them.
